News Alert: Additional Wristband Distribution is April 28
April 26, 2010 — Remote Area Medical® (RAM) will distribute a limited number of wristbands on Wednesday, April 28 starting at 10 a.m. on the east side of the Los Angeles Sports Arena parking lot. A limited number of wristbands are available for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No additional wristbands will be distributed before Wednesday, April 28. People must have a wristband to be admitted to the clinic.

April 12, 2010 — Anticipating a high level of demand for this year’s free clinic, Remote Area Medical® (RAM) will distribute wristbands in advance of the clinic on April 25 starting at 9 a.m. at the Los Angeles Sports Arena located at 3939 South Figueroa Street in Los Angeles. The weeklong free clinic will run from April 27 to May 3 starting at 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. People must have a wristband to be admitted to the clinic.
Volunteers and RAM staff will distribute the color-coded wristbands for each day of the clinic on a first-come, first-serve basis starting at 9am.
Press Passes
Press passes to cover the RAM/LA clinic will be issued to all accredited members of the press who have valid credentials. If you do not have a press credentials, you will need to provide us with a copy of a business card from your editor/news director. A press pass only provides access to the main clinic floor; additional access must be cleared by Remote Area Medical’s public relations team on site.
